Cayenne Peppers

Thin and elegant, the cayenne, brings some sassy heat to the party.
Once upon a time, I created a lovely sauce that included the heat. The sauce was free-wheeled and I have yet to re-create it. Every summer when the cayenne is harvested someone says
" Hey remember that sauce you made that one year"
Of course sadly I don't.
Free wheeled: In my kitchen it means this... A little of this and a little of that. No measuring....just tasting and cooking.
