Iceberg Lettuce

Round Uno on the lettuce. The iceberg was planted at the wrong time being that lettuce prefers cooler weather. Enough lettuce was harvested from the first planting to put together a salad here and there plus also to serve with the occasional mexican style dinner.
As with all of my adventures I am more than willing to share the outcomes be it grand or bland!
The taste is fine, crunchy, just meager in size.

As soon as the heat wave breaks I will plant another row. Also, garlic, peas and a few other cold crops are yet to go into the ground.
